Huhu! I'm Melanie an totally in the pottery-"bubble" since 2020. You will find functional, authentic, handmade pottery/ceramics, made by a "real" Austrian girl, produced in the heart of NRW.

CLAY AND GLAZES

At the moment I'm using cork and grey stoneware-clay. All my glazes are tested and food-safe. You can find the possible glaze-clay-combinations at the pictures of my "preorder"-products. For example here.

PREORDER

What does "preorder" mean? The pieces, which are noticed as preorders, aren't ready yet. As soon as I get your order I will start producing them, so I can avoid overproduction and they will be right the way you want them.

Duration until ready to ship: 8-10 weeks

Good to know:
Preorder-products are made to order and non-refundable/exchangeable.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

My stoneware-pieces get fired at over 1200 degrees. After the second (glaze-) firing they are waterproof, food-, dishwasher-, oven- and microwave safe. Although I'm always recommending the old school hand wash, to keep them even longer beautiful.

PACKAGING

I try to use as little plastic as possible. I reuse the packaging materials I receive, this means there can be some part of plastic in my packages. Beside that I’m using organic corn chips, which can be reused, composted or dissolved in water.
